Waikirikiri Hockey has been working with Canterbury Hockey to develop an umpire mentoring programme.  This first session is aimed at current Junior umpires, or those wanting to take their first steps into umpiring and will be in two parts.

On the 12th of December at 4.30 p.m. we will be holding a theory session held at the Selwyn Sports Centre followed by a practical session umpiring the Junior Social games on the Sand Turf.

This is a great opportunity to get involved with umpiring,  get some top tips and practice with real games. Come along and give it a go.

This is the early stages of the Hockey New Zealand Umpire Development Programme and could lead to community umpire accreditation in the future.
