Join Us at the 2023 Junior Prizegiving!

We cordially invite you to our much-anticipated 2023 Junior Prizegiving event. It's a celebration you won't want to miss!

Event Details: Saturday, 26 August, at Clearview Primary School.

• Session 1: 1:30 pm (Fun & Mini Sticks: Y1-4)
• Session 2: 3:30 pm (Kiwi & Kwik Sticks: Y5-8 and Junior Umpires) 

Programme:

1 pm: Doors Open

1:30 pm: Prizegiving Commences (Session 1)

• Certificates for Fun Sticks players, presented by Fun Sticks Coaches & Manager: Hamish, Rana, Will, Duncan & Suzie.
• Certificates and Team Awards for Mini Sticks (Y3&4) players, presented by Team Coaches & Managers.
• President's Speech, by Paul Wilson
• Club Awards 

2.30 pm Close. After the prizegiving, all players (and siblings) are welcome to enjoy a complimentary ice cream from the ice cream truck in the car park and doors open (Session 2, following the preceding prizegiving)

3:30 pm: Prizegiving Commences (Session 2)

• Kiwi Sticks (Y5&6) Awards: Certificates and Team Awards presented by Team Coaches & Managers. 
• Junior Umpire Awards: Recognition and awards including Most Improved, Mentor's Award, and Umpire of the Season.
• Kwik Sticks (Y7&8) Awards: Certificates and Team Awards presented by Team Coaches & Managers.
• President's Speech: Presented by Paul Wilson
• Club Awards

5 pm: The event concludes at approx. Following the prizegiving, all players (and siblings) are welcome to indulge in complimentary ice cream from the parked ice cream truck.

Event Details:

• Prompt Start: Kindly aim to arrive on time to ensure a seamless start.
• Seating: Players, please locate your designated team seating on the floor in front of the seating. The front-row seats are reserved for coaches and managers.
• Speeches: Unfortunately, award recipients won't have an opportunity to give speeches.
• Photos: Throughout the event, we'll capture moments for later sharing. Individual photos can be taken after the prizegiving.
• Helpers: We would love extra pairs of hands to help with event setup (11 am - 1 pm) and tidy-up (around 5 pm - 6 pm). If available, please email us at juniorclubcaptains@waikirikirihockey.co.nz.
